New Jersey Pathways and Rowan College Burlington Host the Pennsylvania Talent Pipeline Project New Partner Orientation
July 7, 2022 - New Jersey Pathways and Rowan College Burlington hosted the 2022-2024 PA Talent Pipeline Project New Partner Orientation workshop on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 .
The PA Talent Pipeline Project Regional Manager Bruce Warner from the Training Modernization Group (TMG), Inc. kicked off the session by stating that the joint maritime ecosystem has been challenged with workforce sustainability.
The three-hour training session served as a preparation for the next cohort of employers, Career and Technical Education (CTE) organizations and industry facilitators.
With stakeholders representing defense industrial manufacturers, private industry, technical universities and other key parties, the workshop afforded participants the opportunity to understand the opportunities, process, and milestones for Cohort 2 of the project.
“The primary focus of the PA Talent Pipeline Project is assisting participating employers in improving the performance of their talent acquisition and retention systems. If they do not change the way they acquire and retain talent, no pipeline program will help them. This training is for and about the employers and gives them the knowledge to better understand the current labor market and how they can adjust their internal systems then create the talent pipelines to meet their needs.”
