Enterprise Plus Flag Kickoff Event

Washington, DC - November 14, 2024 - On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the Enterprise + Flag of the US Navy Talent Pipeline Program hosted its Kickoff & Networking event for the 2024-2026 Cohort. The event hosted representatives from nearly 30 employers across the United States, bringing together employers and the US Navy to discuss their hiring needs, the talent pipelines they intend to activate, and the Talent Acquisition and Retention Systems tool implementation plans.  Enterprise + sponsors RADM Casey Moton PEO Aircraft Carriers and Mr. Michael McClatchey Director UWS was in attendance, along with Mr Jay Stefany PM Maritime Industrial Base and CMC Jeff Hiscocks Team Submarines from the Navy.

The day began with a Partner Orientation and Talent Acquisition and Retention Training, where partner employers in the US Navy Talent Pipeline Program and employers interested in joining the program came together to learn more about the US Navy Talent Pipeline Program and how it can assist their companies with improving their TA&R systems performance.

Command Master Chief Jeff Hiscocks opened the afternoon session with a reminder of the importance of not only the program but also the work that all of those in attendance do for not only the Navy but also the safety and stability of the country. Each Employer Partner was then given time to brief all participants on their unique demands, their plans on tool implementation, which pipelines they are planning on using in the 2024-2026 cohort, and what support they need from the TPP to improve their TA&R Systems and ultimately run a better business.

The event also offered a valuable networking platform, allowing employers, training providers, facilitators, the US Navy, and interested future partners to make new connections, mature established relationships, exchange insights, and engage in meaningful discussions.

The event ended with several employers being recognized for their participation and engagement in TPP. RADM Moton awarded Challenge Coins to Mike Drukenmiller (Lehigh Heavy Forge), Jared Weaver (Non-Ferrous Foundry Society), Beth Suchocki (Micro-Tronics), and Gavine Tice (TotalTek).

The "Teammate of the Day" recognition highlights actively engaged partners who have made significant contributions to the Talent Pipeline Program. Congratulations to Taylor Powell of Fairbanks Morse Defense and Mike Drunkenmiller of Lehigh Heavy Forge for winning the Teammates of the Day Award!
