Philadelphia Talent Pipeline Mid-Year Event 2025

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - The Philadelphia Talent Pipeline Program held its Mid-Year event on January 16, 2025, in the historic Penn’s Landing district. This dynamic gathering brought together industry leaders and Training Providers to discuss challenges, countermeasures, and talent acquisition and retention successes. The room was abuzz with energy, engagement, and networking.

The event's highlight was an electrifying keynote address delivered by Senior Chief Colby Gardner, PEO Team Submarine. With passion and conviction, Senior Chief Gardner underscored the irreplaceable importance of a robust manufacturing sector in maintaining national security. Equally powerful was the testimony from Precision Custom Components’ Chief Operating Officer, Brett Butler, who shared how the Talent Pipeline Program has significantly improved their business operations.

Teammates of the Day went to Terrence Watts of B&G Manufacturing and Ron Sizer of The Community College of Philadelphia for providing “ah ha” countermeasures for recruiting and hiring challenges. As the day concluded, the energy in the room was palpable, with attendees buzzing about the insights gained and the opportunities ahead.
