The Navy Sponsored Talent Pipeline Project Expands into the New England Region

Boston, MA – APRIL 26, 2023 - Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) hosted the “Boston Region” Demand Signal Round Table at Northeastern University’s Innovation Campus in Burlington to discuss the expansion of the Talent Pipeline Program into the New England area. Regional maritime and defense industrial base employers discussed the challenges associated with hiring qualified skilled tradespeople for positions in their companies signaling a need for the Talent Pipeline Project in the area.  The project is designed to build sustainable pipelines in the region and invigorate the regional economy.

The demand for the Talent Pipeline Project in the region was evidenced by 28 maritime and defense industrial base suppliers, 6 training provider organizations, and 12 facilitators pledging to participate in the program.  Senior US Navy leaders gave the “GO” signal to establish a flag in the New England Area.
TMG, Inc., in support of the NAVSEA Shipbuilding Industrial Base Task Force, has the overall program lead.  The next phase of the project consists of maritime and defense industrial base on-site visits to discuss the talent acquisition and retention process coupled with a Partner Orientation and Talent Acquisition and Retention Workshop held on August 2, 2023.

Ambrose (Bo) Brewer will be leading the project in the New England Region.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the program members below.
