The 2025 US Navy Talent Pipeline Program (TPP) Symposium was held in Norfolk, Virginia, from March 31 to April 3, bringing together the TPP Leadership Team from across the country. This annual gathering served as a platform to align on strategic priorities, share innovative ideas, and address challenges in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining top-tier talent in support of the Maritime Industrial Base.
Over the course of the symposium, participants engaged in focused discussions designed to strengthen our collective understanding of the TPP mission and the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual rhythms essential to program execution.
We were also honored to welcome representatives from our valued Employer Partner network, including:
Fairlead Integrated, ADVEX, AT&F, Schroeder Industries, Precision Custom Components, Consolidated Precision Products, Fives North American Combustion, Fairbanks Morse Defense, and Acutec Precision Aerospace.
Their shared experiences, success stories, and candid feedback provided valuable insights and improvement opportunities for the TPP team.
A key highlight of the symposium was the presentation of the 5-year Strategic Plan and program enhancements for U.S. Navy consideration and approval, by Mr. Matt Sermon, Direct Reporting Manager for the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB).
A heartfelt thank you goes to all organizers, speakers, and attendees, who contributed to the success of this event. The knowledge exchanged and the relationships strengthened during these four days will serve as a catalyst for impactful progress in workforce retention and readiness.
As we look ahead, it is imperative to carry forward the energy and collaboration witnessed at this symposium. By implementing the strategies discussed, we will ensure the continued strength and sustainability of the US Navy Talent Pipeline Program—and by extension, our nation’s maritime defense capacity to help our US Navy deliver on its 2+1+Sustainment objectives.
One Team – One Fight!
