Accents Network Lunch and Learn

The Talent Pipeline Program "Accents" Network conducted its first Lunch and Learn on October 25, 2023, at The Entwistle Company located in Hudson, MA. The Network Lunch and Learn is a time for partnering companies to share and learn best practices with each other in the Talent Acquisition and Retention Program. 

This month, we learned about Entwistle Company History, took a Gemba walk through its production floor, and gained an understanding of Leonardo DRS' hiring process. Lisa Trombetta, Principle HR Generalist at Leonardo DRS, shared the company's Value Stream Map. She delved into the hiring process details, sharing beneficial experiences and tools to engage new employees after being hired. The meeting was interactive and synergistic. 

We finished the networking event with a team-building event at The Breakout Escape Room in Marlborough, MA. We divided up into two teams. We both broke out of the escape rooms before the time was up. Our goal at the Network Lunch and Learns is for attendees to learn beneficial knowledge or share their knowledge and experience to improve others. The 'Accents' next Network Lunch and Learn will be held in December.
